This activity was attended by seven participants consisting of postpartum mothers and patients’ families as an effort to improve understanding regarding psychological changes during the postpartum period. Education was delivered through lectures, discussions, and interactive question-and-answer sessions supported by PowerPoint presentations and educational leaflets to help participants better understand the material. The materials presented included the definition of the postpartum period, stages of maternal psychological adaptation, factors affecting psychological conditions, warning signs that should be monitored, and forms of psychological support that families can provide to postpartum mothers.

In addition, this activity also supports SDG 4: Quality Education through the implementation of evidence-based clinical learning practices by students in the hospital setting.
Not only focusing on providing health education, this PKRS activity also became a means of empowering families to become more actively involved in supporting the recovery process of postpartum mothers, both physically and psychologically. The enthusiasm of participants, demonstrated through discussion and question-and-answer sessions, showed increased family awareness regarding the importance of understanding the emotional condition of mothers during the postpartum period. Through this activity, students of the Faculty of Nursing at Universitas Airlangga demonstrated their commitment to integrating education, healthcare services, and community service in a sustainable manner.
