Surabaya — The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Airlangga, through the SENIORA Ministry, organized Routine Exercise (ROSE) 2026 as a platform for students to develop their interests and talents in the arts. Held from April to September 2026, the program consists of Traditional Dance and Ners Voice training, which are conducted regularly and systematically at the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Airlangga.
Routine Exercise (ROSE) 2026 is a training program designed to provide students of the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Airlangga, with opportunities to develop their nonacademic abilities, particularly in dance and vocal arts. The activities are carried out continuously with the aim of enhancing students’ interests and talents, developing soft skills, and supporting physical well-being through positive activities.
ROSE 2026 is conducted offline at the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Airlangga, and is open to all students of the Faculty of Nursing. Ners Voice training is held every Tuesday, while Traditional Dance training is held every Thursday. Both activities take place from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. WIB. During the activities, students serve as trainers, with Aulia Ayu Lujingga as the Ners Voice trainer and Leona Zahra ‘Adhen Azhima as the Traditional Dance trainer.
Through consistent training, students can not only improve their artistic abilities but also have opportunities to develop self-confidence, discipline, teamwork, and adaptability. This activity also serves as part of the effort to establish active dance and vocal teams that are capable of participating in various activities within the faculty and other student activities. In addition, ROSE is expected to serve as a means of supporting the achievement of students of the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Airlangga, in the arts, both at the university level and beyond the university.

The implementation of ROSE 2026 also supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education. Education does not focus solely on academic achievement but also encompasses the development of students’ skills, creativity, interests, and talents. This is reflected in ROSE, which provides students with opportunities to learn and develop their artistic abilities through structured and continuous activities. Based on the Terms of Reference (TOR), this program also contributes to the achievement of Key Performance Indicator (IKU) 4 and the publication of activities through articles on Webners and Kompasiana.
ROSE 2026 also contributes to supporting Universitas Airlangga’s vision of becoming a World Class University (WCU). Student development through the arts and culture is one of the efforts to shape outstanding and well-rounded students with strong character and competitiveness in both academic and nonacademic aspects. Through consistent training, students are expected to develop their artistic abilities while actively participating in various activities at the faculty and university levels.
Through the implementation of Routine Exercise (ROSE) 2026, it is hoped that a sustainable platform can be established for students of the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Airlangga, to develop their interests and talents in the arts. Traditional Dance and Ners Voice training not only serve as a means of improving skills but also support the development of soft skills, student achievements, and the formation of active, creative, and well-rounded students. Thus, ROSE contributes to supporting the achievement of the SDGs, IKUs, and the vision of Universitas Airlangga as a World Class University.
