NERS NEWS – Monday, April 20, 2026 – The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Airlangga, once again held a graduation confirmation ceremony (Yudisium) for 180 Nursing Professional Program students of the Specialist Track Class of 2026 (B26) at the Florence Nightingale Room. The event was attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, and B26 Nursing Professional Program students both onsite and online via Zoom.
The ceremony began with expressions of gratitude and appreciation to all parties who were able to attend the event that afternoon. It continued with the singing of Indonesia Raya and the Hymne Airlangga, guided by the master of ceremonies, followed by a prayer led by Dr. Abu Bakar. Afterward, Prof. Dr. Yuni Sufyanti Arief, as Dean of the Faculty, expressed her happiness and pride in the students who had successfully completed all stages of learning, both academic and clinical practice. The presence of the students served as proof of the competence, commitment, and hard work they had demonstrated throughout their studies.
At the highlight of the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Yuni Sufyanti Arief officially announced and confirmed the graduation of 180 students. She also announced the top 10 graduates and presented certificates as recognition of their outstanding achievements. The event continued with a speech from Jumanti Sastrawardani as the student representative of B26. She expressed her emotion, happiness, and gratitude to the lecturers and academic community who had guided and supported the students throughout their journey. Toward the end of the ceremony, faculty leaders, lecturers, and students participated in a group photo session. At the closing of the event, students were invited to exchange handshakes with fellow students and the lecturers in attendance.
This event became one of the foundations showing that the Faculty of Nursing has actively contributed to achieving Universitas Airlangga Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 4: Quality Education. The Yudisium represents a milestone demonstrating that students have successfully completed their academic journey. The event also symbolizes the Faculty of Nursing’s success as an educational institution that provides quality education and produces competent, ethical, and highly qualified healthcare professionals ready to contribute to society.
