
NERS NEWS — Monday, May 18, 2026 — The Faculty of Nursing at Universitas Airlangga held a Welcoming Ceremony and Signing of the MoA with the delegation from Naresuan University. The event took place in the Rapim 2 Room of the Faculty of Nursing and was attended by Nuzul Qur’aniati, S.Kep.Ns., M.Ng., Ph.D., Vice Dean III, representing the Dean who was unable to attend, along with several lecturers from each department.
The event was opened by a student ambassador from Universitas Airlangga who served as the master of ceremony for the morning session. The ceremony began with the screening of the Faculty of Nursing profile video from Universitas Airlangga, followed by a profile video presentation from Naresuan University. The event then continued with an introduction session involving delegates from both institutions attending the meeting. The session proceeded warmly and smoothly, allowing both parties to gradually feel more comfortable with one another. After the introductions, the Faculty of Nursing and the delegation from Naresuan University exchanged souvenirs as a gesture of gratitude and mutual welcome.

During the middle of the event, Lect. Supitcha Wongkanghae, a lecturer from Naresuan University, delivered several insightful presentations regarding the academic programs offered by the Faculty of Nursing at Naresuan University. At the highlight of the event, Nuzul Qur’aniati, S.Kep.Ns., M.Ng., Ph.D. presented several key topics that would serve as the foundation for future collaboration between the two institutions. Six main topics were discussed during the meeting: research collaboration, publication, academic exchange innovation, guest lectures, collaborative innovation, and entrepreneurship mindset development. Throughout the discussion, both parties explored future plans for collaborative research and publications, as well as the scheduling of academic exchange programs. In addition, they discussed potential collaborative activities such as guest lectures and innovation collaborations among students and academic staff. Lastly, both institutions exchanged ideas regarding the development of entrepreneurial mindsets within their respective university environments.
Today’s event marked both an initial step and a continuation of Universitas Airlangga’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, which emphasizes building global partnerships to achieve sustainable objectives. Through this collaboration, it is hoped that both universities will support one another in achieving their shared goals, especially regarding the six collaborative topics discussed during the meeting: research collaboration, publication, academic exchange innovation, guest lectures, collaborative innovation, and entrepreneurship mindset development.
